Today I got up to get ready to come to the office. As I was getting out of the shower a little face appeared pressed up against the glass shower door. It was my 20 month old son Benaiah peering through the glass.

As I got out he just stared at me as I was preparing for my day. At times like these I often wonder what is going through his little mind. I know what was going through my mind, all the stuff that had to be done. But his mind had other things in mind. You see his mind is thinking about all the new things he will explore today. What new things will he learn about the backyard that he did not learn the day before. What tree will he try to climb or what new bug will he try to catch. You see for a 20 month old Life Is An Adventure!

As I pondered my son I began to look at my life and wonder why I don't think life to be an Adventure? Why do I settle for the routine and the safety of knowing all that is going to happen? I want to discover something new and fresh in my day.

My prayer today is: Lord I want to see something new, experience something new and learn something new. Thank you Jesus for a New Day filled with New Opportunities.
